after the floods, and it still looked
angry. It seemed to have a
distasteful
appearance that it had enjoyed the destructive path of days before. Maybe
that was reading too much into it, but I know we live in a fallen world
that
would like to discourage us and even conquer us. It
is an angry climate, groaning in
expectation for redemption.
I’ve noticed a great deal of cleanup happening after the devastation of the flash floods. Many people are reaching out with helping hands to neighbors and friends. That is encouraging, especially when it communicates the message that God is the only help and hope.
