We were looking for a
rental in Lewistown. After going to three realtors in town who
gave us the same message…..”No apartments or houses available in Lewistown
to rent, sorry”…..we wondered where we might end up living. We
went by an apartment complex that looked really nice and decided to track
down the manager, who said he had one just open up. After looking
at the sweet 3 bedroom 2 bath apartment with Spring Creek out the back door,
we said we’d take it. I inquired, “What do we need to do to
secure the place? Deposit? Rental contract? Credit
check?” Taking his hand from his chin he said, “You
want it? Let’s shake hands and it’s a done deal.”
So, it’s a done diehl that we are moving to Montana to pastor the Lewistown Alliance Church. It is exciting to be moving to a rare area of the country where a person’s word still counts and a handshake is trusted. Yes.
