Zach received his honorable discharge from the U.S. Marine Corps, joined the National Guard, lived in San Diego for a year, and is now moving to the East coast where he plans to continue to study Criminal Justice.

Zach is now training in Hawaii, preparing for deployment to Iraq. New news:
- He is now a skydiver as well as a scuba diver and surfer
- Recently promoted to Team Leader
- Is serving as a chaplain's assistant/lay leader
- Enjoying participating on the worship team at a C&MA church near the base
- Was Decorated with a purple heart when in Afghanistan:
