I went golfing with my
father-in-law recently. He whooped me. One
of his shots was a beautiful drive that went up, up,
then “ker-plunk”
---- right into the pond, water splashing up in beautiful form. However, the ball did an incredible
thing. Somehow it deflected and
turned
to the right, landing as a beautiful shot in the fairway.
Thanks, FATHER, for those times when a botched shot I have made in ministry or life was turned into a playable opportunity because you did something out of the ordinary to deflect my inadequacy, by your Spirit, for your glory. Thanks for the grace that all You ask is a faithful prayer, reliance on You, then to give it my best shot.

9:8-11…..AndGod is able to make all grace abound to you, so that always
having
all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good
deed; as it is written,
"HE SCATTERED ABROAD, HE GAVE TO THE POOR, HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS ENDURES FOREVER." Now He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness; you will be enriched in everything for all liberality, which through us is producing thanksgiving to God.
