  Blessed New Year

  Perhaps you are among the many people who use the YouVersion Bible App.  They reported that the most popular verse in the Bible on their Bible app this past year was Isaiah 41:10---

  So do not fear, for I am with you;

  do not be dismayed, for I am your God.

  I will strengthen you and help you;

  I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

   

  That’s a good prayer to take into this new year, full of promised blessings to pray into the new year. 

  Lord, help us to not fear, knowing that you are with us.  Help us to not be dismayed or disappointed or discouraged, because you are our God, we belong to you!  Thank you for your promise that you will strengthen us and hold us up with your holy and righteous hand. 

  One of my desires for this new year is to pump up my prayer life, to access more of God’s blessings through prayer.  

  I pray that this new year is full of blessings for you….including the blessings of courage and strength --- found in His presence with you.  BE encouraged!  Be blessed as the new year unfolds!
